I've been involved in the racing industry for many years. While racing and attending many different race schools, I realized that numerous sports and race fans have the interest and might like to try four-wheeled competition for themselves as drivers, but don't have the money nor time to commit to their own racing operation.
I also realized that there are a great number of young people just coming upon a curiosity in racing. And there are parents with lifelong motoring interests who might like to give their children the opportunity to try the sport on for size without a huge cash outlay.
And that there is virtually no place in the sports world where adults and children can compete as equals, especially as jointly contributing parts of a larger team competing in a mutually exciting sport, to reap the benefits of the camaraderie that team competition engenders.
Endurance Karting addresses all of those issues and adds some spice of its own.
We use karts so that they are less intimidating to wheel around the course while providing all of the challenges of real motorsports. And karts are very durable without costing an arm and a leg. Consequently, we can keep our prices low by all racing measures.
Whether you or someone you know have attended a race school or not, here is an opportunity for you to race! No racing experience is necessary. But the challenges of motorsports are such that even veterans of much faster machinery will find satisfaction in squeezing out the best performance possible from these little machines
We make it an endurance event so that many can be involved for a long enough period that everyone goes home feeling like they had ample opportunity to explore the world of wheel-to-wheel motor racing and gain some understanding that they may not previously have had.
And since a team of drivers is involved, friends and families can participate together to receive the validation and feeling of closeness that only a team effort can achieve.
You can sign up individually or put a team together with friends, coworkers or enter as a corporate team. If you sign up as an individual, you will be matched with drivers of similar driving skills.
The cost is small, the fun-meter is pegged and you don't have to do any mechanical work.
Nobody has to sit in the pits waiting for some fleeting, unrecognized opportunity to show their stuff servicing or repairing the machine - everybody drives! And everybody must work together to find a strategy that will move the team closer to success.
Just show up with your competitive spirit to experience close racing and exciting pit stops, first hand!
Included in the entry fee is the use of karts, practice, professional mechanics, gas and more. Professional quality driving gear is also available at a nominal fee. Unlike any other racing series, participants will not be held responsible for crash damage.
And for those who would feel under-prepared to compete wheel-to-wheel, we have developed a couple of optional race driving schools, Friday's Race School and the Kids Race Camps, scheduled in company with most events that will teach the basics of racing and give you a leg up on the rest of the next day's competition.
Friday's Race School takes the student through the basics of racing to more advanced techniques of building speed, passing and driver changes.
Kids Race Camps allow parents and children to move through those learning experiences together, all the while gaining a new understanding and respect for each other as well as the sport in which they are mutually interested.
If you have a racing interest, come on out and give it a try. You have precious little to lose and a whole world of experience, knowledge and companionship to gain.
