In addition to competing for the overall win we also have other classes competing within the race -- a race within the race. With these different classes you could be running in 7th positioning overall, but leading your class and walk home with a first place trophy.
Pro Class: Any team where at least 75% of participants are regular racers (more than one year of competitive wheel-to-wheel racing). Any team running in the top three will automatically be moved to the Pro Class.
Rookie Class: 75% of the team has no previous racing experience (maximum 1 year of autocross) - we strongly suggest that people racing in this class attend the racing school when offered.
Master Class (GT40): Average age of the team members is 40 years of age or older.
Big Boys Class (BB GT): Average weight of the team members is 190 pounds or more.
Company team: Any team where 75% of the team are coming from the same company - although it is not a prerequisite, we also suggest that drivers attend the racing school when offered.
