Jacksonville, FL: It was a fantastic weekend of racing at 103rd Streets newly paved track. Being the first group on the track meant that drivers had to change their style a bit to compensate for the slickness.

Saturday 22 teams raced in the 6 hour endurance race, with funds being raised for Spina Bifida. Drivers, sponsors, and donations, including the helmet Rick Mansfield raffled off all made this a very successful event for Spina Bifida - over $14,000.00 was raised this event! A special thanks to all the participants and to Duval Asphalt for providing the grilling and food items during the race. All proceeds ($1000) went to Spina Bifida from the food sales. Melissa from www.MKSPix.com captured the day in photos - disks are for sale with a percents of sales also being donated to Spina Bifida. Big cheers for Bill Warner and his $4000.00 donation from Amelia Island Councours. Team Chicanes did it again this year and made a $2000 team dontation from their sponsors.

The racing was very close and the top three teams were separated by only 8.8 seconds.

Sunday's 1.5 hour race was completed with only minor sprinkles... just enough to add an additional FUN factor to the race. 16 teams competed for the win, with half of the teams being 1 man teams.
