Go Kart Racing School
Go Kart Racing School is available at every Endurance Karting event. Our one-day workshop gives you all the tools you need to safe and exciting go kart racing experience. Endurance Karting Go Kart Racing School instructors take you from the basics all the way through to advanced racing techniques. This one day karting school experience will give you the control and confidence to improve your karting skills and truly enjoy go kart racing.
Ambitious racers can quickly learn the ins and outs of karting from the experts. Our Go Kart Racing School instructors emphasize a hands-on learning experience. Go Kart Racing School students alternate between the classroom and the track, applying recently learned skills to real driving situations.
Go Kart Racing School Itinerary
7:30 am – Go Karting Racing School registration and equipment rental.
8:40 am - Introductions, drivers meeting, morning exercises.
11:30 am - Lunch Break (lunch provided for Go Kart Racing School Participants)
12:00 pm - Afternoon exercises, track walk.
1:45 pm - Mini endurance races w/Le Mans Start.
2:40 pm – Go Kart Racing school closing ceremony.
Early on in the day, Go Kart Racing School students are introduced to the basics of karting competition. Following orientation, instructors familiarize students with the mechanics and design of the karts they will use in karting competition.
After the first classroom instruction, Go Kart Racing School students are brought to the track and get behind the wheel for the first time. Maintaining a slow, constant speed, the group becomes familiar with the kart, studies proper line of driving.
Go Kart Racing School instructors then teach the group to become comfortable with braking. adjusting to a slightly higher driving speed, and controlling the kart with other racers close by. Instructors also begin to emphasize staying in correct racing line at higher speed, points of braking and acceleration, and open passing.
Go Kart Racing School students then pair up for longer, high speed sessions, and to practice correct driving changes. Instructors also work individually with each student on difficult turning corners. The day ends with drivers teaming up to experience LeMans Start for the first time. Students also learn to change drivers during competition, and practice the lessons learned during Go Kart Racing School in a real-time racing situation. |
